Script Surgery is a chance to get bespoke dramaturgical advice on an extract of your work in progress. Playwrights and theatre makers who are currently developing a new script are invited to book a 30 minute, one-to-one meeting with freelance dramaturg and Paperwork’s Co-Artistic Director Hayley Greggs or e+P New Works Associate, Francesca Peschier.
Upload a 10-15 page extract of your script in development (as Microsoft word or PDF) and say a few words about what you’d like to discuss in your meeting – you might have questions about characterisation or the structure of the extract you have submitted; what will help you move this draft forward?
Script Surgery takes place on the last Wednesday of the month between 3-5pm. Names are drawn at random on the Monday before and meetings will be allocated via email.
Script Surgery is currently taking place via Zoom.
For enquiries please contact Hayley on firstname.lastname@example.org
Delivered in association with Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse Theatres.
Script Surgery is free, but if you can, we ask that you will make a donation to our Teacup Commission. Every time the cup reaches £200, local theatre makers can pitch to win it at to support a new theatrical idea or project.
