Deep Blue is a mystical from-bending drama which swims between two worlds, above and below the water. It’s a heartfelt, sometimes humorous and visceral exploration of what it means to be alone and the connections we need to make to survive.
Reilly is a 30 something woman who is struggling to survive when life takes an unexpected turn, she has lost all sense of belonging and connection with the world around her. Now a song is calling to her from the deep. It’s a low, mournful sound, a warning.
Inspired by the true account of the world’s loneliest whale, DEEP BLUE is being created as a direct response to the UK’s loneliness epidemic told through bold storytelling, sub-mersive design and an original live indie-rock soundtrack.
