We believe in sharing knowledge, developing skills demystifying the industry for North West Creatives by providing a platform for artists to meet, collaborate and develop careers.
Paperwork Theatre’s Teacup Commission is a micro fund for local theatre makers, to support new creative ideas. The fund is made by creatives for creatives, to help get early stage ideas off the ground. Donate the price of a cuppa, and every time the cup reaches £200, local theatre makers can pitch to win it for their project. We’re delivering Round 10 in partnership with Shakespeare North Playhouse- who have match funded the total to make £400.
Teacup Commissions are a flexible fund to use however you wish to get your creative idea off the ground. It could be used towards paying yourself or a collaborator, buying a bit of kit, or hiring a space. As long as the project is considered ‘theatre‘, it’s totally up to you.

Previous winners include: Martha Jamieson, Afloat Theatre, Flood Theatre, One Big Dance, Wunderous Funderstorm, Nana Funk, Dora & Jonathan, Ginni Manning.
